Christmas Cheesecake Ideas

Fancy something a bit different for your Christmas Day desserts this year? Why not whip up a tasty cheesecake? Here are eight Christmas Cheesecake ideas.

Cheesecake is one of my all-time favourite desserts. That said, I can be pretty fussy about it too. I’m not so keen on a baked cheesecake and would rather have a creamy no baked version. Plus, no-bake cheesecakes are much easier to make!

As someone who hates dried fruit, many classic Christmas desserts are off limits for me, including, but not limited to, Christmas Pudding, Christmas Cake, Mince pies and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

I’ve compiled this list of various cheesecakes that I think would be perfect for Christmas. It has a combination of links to recipes you can make yourself, online cheesecake specialists and where you can purchase from supermarkets too.

This means you should be able to find the cheesecake of your dreams without too much trouble whether you want to make it yourself or let someone else do all the hard work for you.

8 Christmas Cheesecake Ideas

1. Snowball Cheesecake

I love a snowball. It’s one of my all time favourite cocktails and I always like to enjoy a few over Christmas.

However, sometimes I do find I end up having Advocaat leftover, so turning it into a delicious cheesecake seems like a great option.

These Advocaat Snowball Bites from Sainsbury’s seem like a great choice for parties – small enough for individual portions and they can be ahead of time and frozen.

This Instant Pot Snowball Cheesecake also sounds amazing.

Top Tip: Stick to branded Advocaat. I’ve tried cheaper supermarket versions and they always seem split!

2. Baileys Cheesecake

Many of us associate Christmas with Baileys, even though it’s available all year round. Christmas is when all the special flavours come out.

Baileys Cheesecake is fairly easy to make, so I’ve listed a few recipes below so you can pick the one that appeals to you most.

No Bake Baileys Cheesecake (Jane’s Patisserie)

Crazy Indulgent Baileys Cheesecake (Kitchen Mason)

3. White Chocolate Cheesecake With Berry Compote

White chocolate cheesecake is lovely at Christmas and this recipe adds a mixed berry compote which adds a lovely splash of festive colour.

4. Christmas Cheesecake Ideas: Gingerbread Cheesecake

Gingerbread cheesecake seems like the ultimate in festive indulgence with those flavours we all associate with Christmas shining through. It looks stunning too! Find the recipe here.

5. Vanilla Cheesecake With Ferrero Rocher & Nutella

This Cheesecake comes ready made from the English Cheesecake Company, so if you’re looking for a luxury cheesecake without the fuss this is definitely the option for you.

While it is probably the most expensive option on this list, you’re paying for both luxury and convenience and sometimes that’s something we need at Christmas time!

6. Lemon Cheesecake

This Lemon Cheesecake Recipe from Mummy Vs Work is super simple and easy to make.

Lemon Cheesecake makes a great option at Christmas – after eating lots of rich foods sometimes it’s nice to finish a meal with something a little more refreshing than more chocolate!

7. Gluten-free Triple Chocolate Christmas Cheesecake (dairy-free option)

When it comes to Christmas, you may well be catering for some gluten free or dairy free guests. This chocolate cheesecake has you covered.

The main recipe is gluten free and check the FAQ to find out how to make dairy free too. The best thing is, it tastes so good, everyone will be happy to eat it, so there’s not need to make a seperate dessert for your Gluten free guests.

8. Nutella and Oreo Cheesecake

This cheesecake combines both Chocolate spread and Oreo biscuits for an amazing indulgent treat. The recipe is fairly simple so could be made with Children in the run up to Christmas.
